For two weeks this summer, the Zoo was flooded with fierce competition as two groups of 6th to 8th graders showed us that they have what it takes to capture the beauty of our animals. Inspired by the television show “Top Chef,” the Top Photographer week-long camp teaches students tips and tricks on shooting stunning wildlife photos. After each day, the kids chose their best three photos to share with the group. The group then voted on the most impressive image, and each day’s winner was awarded the title of Top Photographer. The competition was tough, so winning the title is a huge accomplishment for such young photographers! Check out the work of some of the winners below:
Awesome job guys!!
